Across South India, kolam patterns are drawn at thresholds—often beginning with a field of dots, then unfolding through loops, curves, and geometric rhythm.
They are part of a living and varied practice, renewed by hand and shaped by place, family, and individual style. Kolam Jewelry does not seek to reproduce that practice as ornament. Instead, we begin with what its visual language can teach us: continuity, balance, repetition, and the beauty of a line finding its way home.
Our first collection translates those ideas into clean, wearable forms. The work is contemporary, the references are held with care, and the process remains open. We are currently sampling each concept and inviting our early community into what gets made first.
